Dr. C. Everett Moore, Jr. received his pre-veterinary education at Emory University where he earned B.A.and M.S. degrees in chemistry. He later attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, where he received his D.V.M. degree in 1975. In addition, he completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Illinois. Dr. Moore opened Kings Trail Animal Hospital in 1979. He is currently a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, the Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society and the American Heartworm Society. Dr. Moore's hobbies include camping, gardening, and, of course, his family pets - a  golden retriever, a mixed breed dog and 2 cats.
