Kathryn Abby Hanna Park and Beach – you may already know it as Hanna Park. this is one of the best on leash parks and beaches that cater to dogs. There’s dog friendly camping, a lake, and several miles of beach to explore, including the best surf spot in Northeast Florida, The Poles. Surfs up!
Ed Austin Dog Park – this park was an 18 hole golf course that was turned into an exercise complex. And it includes a full 4 acres of off leash fun! This dog park also boasts almost 2 miles of on leash golf cart path walking.
Tillie K. Fowler Regional Park – if you’re into roaming with your dog, this regional park gives you a chance to explore miles of on leash trails. There is also a dog park for large dogs and one for the small pups, for off leash play. Plenty of shade in the summer and picnic tables abound.
Things To Do With Pets In Jacksonville
Riverside Arts Market – known as the RAM, the market is open Saturdays from 10 am – 3 pm and is an amazing place to browse local art, food, and crafts. Dog friendly, it’s got a vibrant, community feel with farmer’s row, a beer tasting, yoga, and hours of live music from the pavillion.
