Chef Charlie's Fruity Oatmeal Christmas Cookies


One ripe banana
One cup shredded carrot
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/8 cup water
1 & 1/2 cups of flour
1 cup oats


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Mash the carrots with the banana, then add applesauce and water.
Fold in the oats and gradually add the flour until a dough is formed.
Lightly sprinkle a countertop with some of the flour and roll out the dough to about 1/2" thick.
Use a small seasonal cutter and place treats on a lightly sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes and let the treats stay inside for 2-3 hours. This will dehydrate them further, creating a chewy or crunchy treat with a longer shelf life.
